Between September 11 and 14, 2024, we had the pleasure of participating in GaLaBau, the largest exhibition dedicated to green and urban spaces. Held in Nuremberg, the event brought together over 66,000 visitors from around the world and provided the perfect opportunity for us to showcase our sustainable solutions for landscape design and green infrastructure.
Innovation and Sustainability in the spotlight
We introduced the latest eco-technologies and sustainable materials, focusing especially on solutions that support climate change adaptation and improve the management of natural resources.
Among the products displayed at GaLaBau 2024, green roofs were a key highlight of our offerings, attracting significant interest from visitors. These are ideal green solutions for improving the quality of life in urban environments, offering both economic and environmental benefits.
In particular, we highlighted extensive green roofs, which are easier to install and maintain, making them ideal for residential buildings, commercial spaces, and public infrastructure.
The Main of the EcoStratos stand
The main attraction of our stand was a bus stop system with an extensive green roof, an innovative solution that transforms common urban spaces into green oases. The extensive green roof installed on the stop is specially designed for low maintenance, using plants that require minimal care, such as Sedum.
The SedumCanopy-Light system is an innovative ecological solution for bus stops, designed to withstand arid conditions while delivering long-term performance. Featuring an ultra-light structure and an integrated extensive green roof, this system enhances both comfort and sustainability in urban areas.
In addition to improving the aesthetics and functionality of transport stations, it significantly contributes to efficient rainwater management, reducing flood risks by absorbing and releasing water in a controlled manner. This solution optimizes urban space, providing benefits for both users and the environment.
By participating in GaLaBau 2024, we were able to demonstrate how our solutions can contribute to creating greener and more sustainable cities. We had the opportunity to connect with industry professionals and explore new collaborations to support the implementation of green roofs and other eco-friendly solutions in urban infrastructure projects.
The highlight of our stand, the bus stop with a green roof, was a concrete example of how urban infrastructure can be transformed to provide long-term benefits for both the environment and residents.
