Filter Fleece

The EGT-F geotextile separates the drainage from the vegetation substrate on the green roof; is a horizontally arranged filter layer. Prevents blockage of fine particles from substrate and vegetation in the drainage system, prevents clogging of the drainage. It also works as a separation layer between incompatible layers on the green roof (eg: bitumen and PVC).

Can be used in any climate/weather conditions due to its weather resistance. It is suitable for any type of green roof, with several layers (extensive, intensive, semi-intensive, respectively warm, cold, inverted), with a slope of up to 45o.

It’s made of polypropylene (non-woven geotextile joined by interweaving and heat setting), CE certified and meets FLL (Green Roof Guide) requirements.

EGT-F Filter Fleece
  • Facilitates the correct functioning of the drainage system; adequately ensures the free circulation of water and air.
  • It is resistant to green roof substrates and natural soils, it has a lifespan of 50-80 years; due to the small size of the pores, it has the ability to retain the particles from the leachable fraction and allows increasingly pure water to pass, free of sediments.

  • Allows the vertical permeability of water.
  • High tenacity (high tensile strength).
  • High resistance to rotting, abrasion and puncture due to its elasticity, and against chemical and biological actions (it is chemically and biologically neutral).


Protection and Water Retention Geotextile

The EGT-PWR geotextile is mainly used for the protection function within the green roof system. It protects the waterproofing and root barrier layer against mechanical impacts both during work and after installation.

It has a very good water storage and retention capacity (EGT-300-PWR-2x50M: 2-3 liters of water/m2), it can be used as a separation layer between incompatible materials (eg: PVC – bitumen). Made of non-woven geotextile, thermally treated on both sides, mechanically tensioned. It can be installed on roofs with a maximum slope of 45o.

Root-resistant Foil

The root-resistant foil is designed to protect the waterproofing membrane from the penetration of the aggressive, invasive roots of certain plant species. The root-resistant membrane is suitable for intensive use, resistant to pedestrian traffic and vehicle traffic (after placing the other layers of the intensive terrace), it is also resistant to different materials, such as bitumen, oil, polystyrene.

It is easy to mount, available in wide rolls, and can be used inside pots and planters, as well as for planting alignment trees, to protect building networks.

ERF Root-resistant Foil
  • Resistant to bitumen, oil, polystyrene, humic acid, etc.
  • Prevents the penetration of plasticizers in PVC type waterproofing.
  • It has resistance to intensive use and compression.
  •  Tested according to CEN/TS 14416:2014.
  • Complies with DIN 4062-1 tests (root resistance test).
  • Complies with FLL (Green Roof Guide) standards.


Separation Layer

The separation layer is a technical layer for complex terrace structures with the function of protecting the waterproofing, reducing the risk of damage caused by deformations, dynamic weights and chemical incompatibilities.

It can be used as a vapor barrier or skip layer, but its most important role is to separate incompatible materials. It is chemically neutral (eg. prevents the drainage system from sticking to the waterproofing).

ESL Separation Layer
  • Reduces the coefficient of friction due to the material used, made of low density polyethylene (LDPE).
  • High mechanical and dynamic resistance.
  • Prevents the penetration of plasticizers into PVC material waterproofing.
  • Resistant to bitumen, oil, polystyrene, humic acid and most chemical materials.
  • Solid and resistant to compression.
  • It has a smooth surface.
